The Report of BC PNPJuly 2nd 2019 draw is as followed The B.C. Tech sector is a major driver of economic growth in the province. Recently tech employment has been at the highest level and the demand for talent in B.C.’s tech sector is increasing every day. The BC PNP Tech Pilot helps employers to hire the employees they need through a fast-tracked, permanent immigration pathway. This program has some features which make it very interesting. The BC PNP: Skills Immigration is a points-based system that evaluates candidates based on
factors like education, work experience and proficiency in English or French. Tech pilot program is one of the recent programs introduced by the province of BC to attract
more Tech workers to this province.Now international tech workers who have at least one year, a full-time job offer from an employer
in BC in one of the 29 eligible tech occupations, will be able to get a nomination approval
letter under BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)’s Tech Pilot. This job offer must have
120 days remaining at the time of submitting the BC PNP Tech Pilot application. This fast track
program provides an accelerated pathway to Canadian PR. In this program, scores are based on information submitted for the BC PNP. This is the first required step for most Skills Immigration and Express Entry categories.
This was the sixth consecutive Tech Pilot draw held on July 2nd, the Candidates in Express
Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration’s pool with a minimum score of 90 got a provincial
nomination under the new Tech Pilot program. Invited candidates with a provincial nomination
approval will be granted 600 Points under Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points toward their Express Entry profile.
