Canada has invited 500 eligible candidates under Federal Skilled Trade Worker Program on October 16th, 2019.

This draw is most probably the last draw of 2019 for this category. Most of the candidates were waiting for this draw on November 2019 but as we see today the draw was held in October and caught many candidates by surprise. Many of the candidates were still hoping to be part of the 2019 Federal skilled trade worker draw but the one who didn’t complete their express entry profile, lost their chances on this round of invitation.

The Express Entry program has 3 subcategories which are as per the following

Skilled Worker Program

Skilled Trade Worker Program

Canadian Experience Class

As you may know candidates are being chosen from the pool of applicant based under CRS score. Candidates with the highest CRS score will receive an Invitation to Apply from Immigration Refugee, Citizenship Canada IRCC and they have 60 days to complete their application for permanent residency in Canada.

Some of the Express Entry draws will only invite applicants registered under certain program. For example this last draw which was held today, was only for candidates in the pool under federal skilled trade worker program.

The minimum CRS score for this round of invitation was 357.

The next draw for federal skilled trade workers most likely will be held in the month of May 2020. We recommend all the interested applicants to open their express entry profile and completely as soon as possible as the next draw may even hold sooner than expected.
