Since the start of the year 2020 Immigration and refugee Canada have issued 10,300 invitations to the candidates in the pool of Express Entry.
The Express Entry is categorized into three different streams.
Federal Skilled Class – This program is for skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently.
Federal Skilled Trades Class – Skilled worker candidates are chosen for PR based on their education, work experience, knowledge of English/French and other factors that come in play.
Canadian Experience Class – This program is for candidates who already have Canadian work experience and want to apply for PR.
The target for 2021 has already been set, the government of Canada is expecting the number of permanent applications for the year 2021 will be 88,800 and increase of 3000 more applicants.
The target for PNP is also expected to increase to 71,300 in 2020 and 71,300 for the year 2021.
Provincial Nominee Program – PNP applicants with little CRS scores can be qualified to apply for Permanent Residency. Each province has a different requirement to qualify for PNP. Most of them require an employer to support them through the process. But do not lose hope if you do not have a Canadian employer to support your application.
