How does the System Work?
We first start your application to register for an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the MPNP in order to receive an LAA for your application. You are scored from a total of 1000 points based on your age, education level, English or French proficiency, family connections, work experience and other factors as well.
For today’s draw the score needed for the Skilled workers in Manitoba were 504 and the from the Skilled Foreign Workers stream were 686 points.
General Information About Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)
The MPNP generally issues and categories the skilled workers and foreign skilled workers to factor in to fill the Manitoba’s labour market needs.
The application can be started while you are not in Manitoba, the MPNP does not require you to be in Manitoba at the time of starting the application. However, the candidate must have a job offer from an employer in Manitoba to be eligible.
The International students that educated in Manitoba can receive the LAA under the International Education Program if they meet the scores.
