This job offer must have 120 days remaining at the time of submitting the BC PNP Tech Pilot application. This fast track program provides an accelerated pathway to Canadian PR. In this program, scores are based on information submitted for the BC PNP. This is the first required step for most Skills Immigration and Express Entry categories. On average, in Tech Pilot draws, which is held every week, the Candidates in Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration’s pool with a minimum score of 90 got a provincial nomination under the new Tech Pilot program. If applicants wish to apply under this program their occupation needs to be among the key 29 technology occupations. The main difference is the priority, which the 29 key technology occupations have over the other BC PNP occupations. In addition, tech Pilot applications are typically processed in shorter timeframes. Generally, processing times for 80% of BC PNP applications is 2-3 months.
